Basketball is why most Philippine sportsbook accounts exist. The markets are not complicated, but three of them behave differently here than they do on an international book, and knowing which is worth more than any tipster.
The four core markets
Ang apat na pangunahing market
- Spread (handicap). The favourite gives points. Priced near even money on both sides, with the book's margin in the price rather than the line.
- Total (over/under). Combined points. PBA totals sit lower than NBA totals because the pace is slower — do not carry an NBA instinct across.
- Quarters and halves. Separate markets with their own lines. Useful when a team's pattern is front-loaded, which several PBA sides genuinely are.
- Player props. Points, rebounds, assists. Deeper on NBA than PBA because the international feed supplies them.
- Spread (handicap).
- Total (over/under). Pinagsamang puntos.
- Quarters at halves.
Why PBA lines move late
Bakit huli gumagalaw ang linya ng PBA
Local money is concentrated and it arrives in the last two hours before tip-off, almost always on the popular side. If your opinion agrees with the crowd, take the price early. If it disagrees, waiting usually gets you a better number. That asymmetry is the single most exploitable feature of a domestic league on an offshore book.

Margin compounds. A book holding about 4.5% on a single holds roughly 17% on a four-fold. The payout looks spectacular because the probability is small, not because the value is good. One or two legs is a bet; six legs is a lottery ticket you paid a premium for.
In-play and cash out
In-play at cash out
Live lines refresh in about three seconds on mobile data. Cash out is offered on most basketball singles but suspends during free throws and timeouts, which is normal behaviour and not a fault. Settlement in our sample ran about fifteen minutes after the final buzzer. Full sportsbook detail is on the sports page.
